A different perception about peer pressure - positive peer pressure

Notwithstanding the negative perceptions that people often have on peer pressure phenomenon, let’s have a look at this from a more objective perspective.
Commonly, individuals - teenagers specifically, often consider this kind of pressure as a burden ( eg. academic burden). By contrast, some men perceive peer pressure as one of the biggest sources of motivation and they always make every attempt to achieve their goals.
So, the question is: “ How to perceive this burden like these men?”
To this kind of people, I think they always try to look at a situation from a more positive view and obviously, peer pressure is not an exception. What I mean is that to live harmoniously with peer pressure, it’s not a story of short-term endeavor, it is a life-journey and requires a lot of practice. Instead of saying: "oh my god, i am not good enough to be your team member” , a better approach should be “I know that I have some weaknesses but I will try my best to play my role effectively”.
On top of that, it is necessary for anyone to give themselves a sense of accomplishment whenever they do a good job. Just from small rewards and changes in the way of expressing your thinking, as time passes, somehow you would realize that peer pressure is no longer a problem to you.
