Dealing with feeling left behind

When people step off the train and move to the new city. Some of them are ambitious to conquer the whole city, while others simply wish for peace and a stable income. Therefore, the definition of success in each of us is completely different. As a consequence, it is my belief that If we know what we really want, know how to balance our lives, and stop comparing ourselves to others, we can completely overcome peer pressure as well as the feeling of being left behind. Why do we feel left behind? The feeling of being left behind always exists deep within us. And the reason for that problem is that when we see the stunning achievements of our peers, we tend to blame ourselves for not trying our best and not being as accomplished as them. Or more simply, when we see our friends going on luxurious check-in trips while we have to stay at home with a lot of deadlines, then the feeling of jealousy arises and we will feel incompetent when we can not complete the work and travel like them.
